Cosmic Kids Preschool

Daycare

Our Daycare Program provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children beyond school hours. Designed to support working families, the program combines supervised care with engaging activities, quiet time, and guided play. Children enjoy a balanced routine that promotes emotional comfort, social interaction, and healthy habits, ensuring they feel secure, relaxed, and cared for throughout the day.

Our Daycare Philosophy — Play, Care, Learn

Our Daycare philosophy rests on three pillars:

Nurturing relationships give children a sense of security that
supports exploration and learning (care that notices, names, and responds).

Activities are age-aligned, sensory, and
activity-based — building early language, numeracy foundations, gross and fine motor
skills, and socio-emotional competence.

Routines, certified infrastructure, trained teams, and transparent
communication give parents confidence.

Assessment & reporting

We assess not by grades but by developmental progress:

  • Anecdotal records & learning stories Short narratives capturing child-initiated learning moments.
  • Developmental checklists Aligned to prime areas (communication, motor skills, socio-emotional milestones).
  • Portfolio samples of art, photos of projects, and teacher observations collected over the term.
  • Regular parent conferences scheduled meetings to discuss progress, transitions, and goals.

Nutrition is integrated into our Daycare

  • ● Age-appropriate, balanced meals and snacks planned by a nutritionist; allergy management and special diet accommodations.
  • ● Learning during mealtimes: self-feeding practice, table manners, food exploration, and sensory exposure to promote healthy eating.
  • ● Clear protocols for bottle feeding, expressed milk storage, and hygienic handling.

School readiness

Our Daycare is a bridge to preschool and primary school readiness:

We scaffold foundational literacy and numeracy concepts using playful scaffolds and routines.

Social-emotional learning prepares children for group learning, sharing, and classroom rules.

Transition reports and teacher-to-teacher handovers support a smooth move into ICSE/primary school preparatory classes.
